A Little About Me...
Hello everyone, and welcome to my ePortfolio! I am hoping this space will provide an inside look about me and who I am as a health care professional.
I have been a Registered Nurse for 7 years, and am very passionate about my career in health care. I graduated in 2012 from the University of Calgary, with a bachelor's degree in nursing. I then worked on an orthopedic unit where I perfected skills and built many great relationships. From there I moved to the NICU where I found my niche. If it weren't for the long night shifts and lack of sleep I would still be caring for those little babies, but I decided to move over the the technical side of health care! I have been there for about 9 months, and am loving the learning curve!
I am an animal lover, and am very passionate about music. I love living near the mountains where I can hike, snowshoe, bike and travel to my cabin near Invermere, BC. My family and friends are the most important thing to me, and I am working on keeping balance in my busy and enjoyable life. These days my main excitement is my new puppy Milo who joined our family at the end of March 2019!
